There's no better time to visit Winchester than at Yuletide! The city comes into its own at this time of year, not least of all because of the now famous Christmas Market at Winchester Cathedral.

With nearly half a million extra visitors in December, the city gets very, very busy. For this reason, if you're thinking of including a trip to Cabinet Rooms in your plans for this festive season, we would recommend booking in advance.

Our rooms downstairs can be booked for up to 25 people for either a whole evening or just a 90 minute slot, so you can get together for a pre-dinner drink. There's no room hire charge but we do ask for a minimum spend. This varies dependent on the size of your group. Visit our bookings page for more details.

We get super busy at Christmas and so we are unable to take party bookings without a pre-order. You can find our current pre-order form here.
