ASSISTANT MANAGER (FULL TIME)
We're looking for a well-organised people person to help lead our team
Looking for a management position in a friendly, inclusive environment without the ridiculously long hours or extra late finishes?
We're looking for a hospitality professional to help us continue to grow our business while maintaining the high standards it's become known for. There's a lot of plates to keep spinning so you'll relish the challenge to get stuck in and support the owners make sure everything runs like clockwork.
You'll have a good idea of what's involved given their recent experience in a managerial or supervisory role in a busy bar or restaurant. Your can-do attitude and problem-solving skills will help to motivate the team - and yourself - to achieve results.
Super well-organised, resourceful and able to prioritise tasks, you'll be known as someone who gets stuff done. We always have campaigns and events going on here, so it's more than just an average café or bar. You'll be involved in lots of different exciting things so will be able to be agile and adapt to new tasks and processes as they are required.
As well as ensuring the café-bar service runs smoothly, you'll be responsible for:
- management of shifts
- line management of two supervisors
- making sure weekly stock counts are carried out accurately and on time by the team
- dealing with customer booking enquiries
- managing private hire reservations and operations
- delivering training to the team and maintaining accurate training records
- supporting the directors with menu development
- General admin support
- Carrying out staff reviews and appraisals

CHEF
We're looking for a real foodie who is looking for a part-time daytime role in a creative and fun environment
We're looking for someone who can bring their passion for food and drink to our small, independent café-bar. Ideally, you'll have experience of working in a commercial kitchen already because, as well as making great food, there is a requirement for high standards in food hygiene and managing costs.
We're not a restaurant per se but with a bit of creative flair and great quality ingredients we can still produce delicious homemade food from our very small kitchen.

Perhaps life has changed and you're now looking for daytime shifts that fit in more with your lifestyle? Are you looking to join a relaxed and friendly team; where staff are treated with respect? We're looking for someone to cover the kitchen on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
Initially, you'll work three shifts a week, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Shift hours are currently 08:30-15:30 but we are able to be flexible as long as the needs of the business are met.

GENERAL ASSISTANT
We are always on the lookout for upbeat and enthusiastic all-rounders to join our team
Our General Assistants are the powerhouse behind the organisation. They're all-rounders with a can-do attitude, ready to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in! It's a varied role that involves KP (Kitchen Porter) duties as well as bar backing and helping to serve customers. It's a great entry level role for anyone starting out in hospitality or for more experienced people looking for a shift or two to supplement their income.
Make no mistake, it's hard work and there's never a shortage of things to do. Busy shifts will keep you on your toes but it's good fun to work in an effective and friendly team.
